Hi! Could you remove the extra variables from your PKGBUILD? (i.e. groups(), depends(), etc.) They're not mandatory, and they just take up some clutter being there.

You're cutting part of the source version from pkgver=, can you use:

  • _pkgver=1.0-rc3
  • pkgver=${_pkgver//-/.}
